With Dubai Airshow Currently Underway, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Takes A Tour Of The Event

Dubai Airshow is finally underway, and ever since it began on November 17th, it has been creating quite a buzz on the internet. As it happens, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, visited the exhibition area. Taking place at Dubai World Central, this exhibition has already seen quite a few updates since its first day.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Visits Dubai Airshow

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was accompanied by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. As he took a tour of the Dubai Air Show, it’s worth mentioning that this is the largest edition yet. A report of Gulf News mentioned how, during his visit, Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum took a tour of the latest innovations across the sectors. It also underlines the importance of technological development and competitiveness!

Not only this, Sheikh Mohammed also visited several key pavilions, where commercial and military aircraft were showcased. There were sustainable and hybrid technologies, and even mobility solutions, giving a glimpse of the future of travel. Hosting more than 1,500 exhibitors, this also includes 440 newcomers, and it is truly the biggest edition.

Sheikh Hamdan Also Visited The Dubai Airshow

Not only this, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum were also at the Dubai Airshow. He is the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and the Minister of Defence of the UAE and the Chairman of the Executive Council. During his visit, he reviewed the UAE-made Calidus B-250 aircraft. It is currently on display at the 19th edition of the airshow. Touring this event, the UAE president Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was also present, and he greeted Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.

Emirates Makes Major Headway

In fact, Emirates also made a major headway by signing 130 additional GE9X engines. These would power 65 additional Boeing 777-9 aircraft, as revealed during the event. Finally, it’s worth mentioning that there was also a display that happened at the event. During this, Emirates revealed how its A350 made its flypast debut and the win. It started in a spectacular 2025 Dubai Airshow opening past and was joined by Emirates 777 and Emirates A380.

So, with the event being a hotbed of development, it’s not wrong to say that Dubai Airshow 2025 would truly create a headway for development
