MasterChef is a dream for every aspiring chef who wants to create their signature dishes. Based on the Australian version, MasterChef India is a cooking competition which has completed eight seasons. Judged by Chef Ranveer Brar, Chef Vikas Khanna and Chef Pooja Dhingra, the MasterChef India Season 8 finale is over! And we have a winner—Mohammed Aashiq, a 24-year-old Mangalore boy and juice stall owner.

Mohammed Aashiq Is The Winner Of MasterChef India Season 8

Out of 12 passionate chefs, only 4 reached the finale—Nambie Marak, Mohammed Aashiq, Dr Rukhsaar Sayeed and Suraj Thapa. After a mind-blowing finale, we finally have the winner of MasterChef India Season 8—Mohammed Aashiq. His win was a symbol of his dedication, hard work and creativity which he showcased in his dishes.

Mohammed Aashiq, a 24-year-old contender from the coastal town of Mangalore, is a resilient and passionate individual whose story has captured the hearts of the audience among many other aspirant tales.

At first, Mohammed Aashiq, who provides for his family, had aspirations of becoming a hotel manager. But he had no choice but to change course due to budgetary limitations. Unfazed by hardship, he turned his love of food into a business and opened his own juice bar, where he demonstrated his artistic ability by creating original dishes that delighted his customers’ palates.

Aashiq, a well-known character from the previous season, has a passion for food that has shaped his journey. He didn’t allow his disqualification from the previous season to get him down. Rather, he utilised it as motivation to return to the MasterChef India kitchen and demonstrate his abilities.

The Winner’s Culinary Journey

Sharing his journey, Mohammad Aashiq stated that MasterChef India is more than simply a competition for him. It’s an opportunity to share his passion with the world. There were difficulties when he started his culinary adventure. But he persisted because of his love of cooking.

His goals and desires are reflected in every drink and dish he has made. He is back this season with a renewed sense of purpose, prepared to move past his failures and leave his mark. In addition to competing, he is here to represent all dreamers who have the courage to overcome obstacles.

The Black Apron Challenge:

Chef Ranveer Brar, one of the MasterChef Judges, had set a complex challenge called the ‘Black Apron Challenge’. Mohammad Aashiq was one of the eight contestants who was competing in the nerve-wracking battle. This challenge marked the first elimination round for the season.

Chef Ranveer Brar has said that the Black Apron challenge was going to expand their home cooks’ culinary horizons. Cooking requires creativity and inventiveness in addition to taste. Not only would this task test the participants’ inventiveness, but it would also see how well they can adjust to unusual culinary requirements. Their ability to replicate the “High Stakes” meal will be put to the test, and he was proud of how each of them has risen to the occasion.

In this challenge, Mohammad Aashiq helped his fellow competitor, Kaushalya. As she was a vegetarian, it was difficult for her to achieve the taste of her dish. He helped her understand the taste better as he had expertise in the area.
