It all started when Aditi Madan shifted from Darjeeling to Delhi-NCR. Apart from grappling with Delhi’s fast-paced city life as compared to Darjeeling’s dreamy mountains, Aditi also missed the food of her home town. She craved authentic thukpa, noodles and especially the delicately flavoured momos. While momos are a rage in Delhi, she questions its hygiene and authenticity. She wanted to make people aware of the authentic delicacies served in the Himalayan region. So, she joined Masterchef India season 3, to put Darjeeling on the map.

So, she started her own company Bluepine Foods to sell authentic frozen momos to India. She arrived in Shark Tank India asking for an investment of ₹50 lakhs in exchange for 5% of her company’s shares.
