X User Captures Vande Bharat Train Passing Through Multiple Waterfalls Near Bhor Ghat

X (formerly Twitter) user, Trains of India, recently posted a video of the Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express passing by multiple waterfalls near Bhor Ghat. The stunning video captures the essence of monsoon in the area with overcast weather, low-lying clouds, and a light breeze.

The Bhor Ghat area lies between the popular tourist spots in Maharashtra, Lonavala and Karjat. The area is popular for its stunning beauty and amazing weather which just amps up during the monsoon season. The Monkey Hill in Bhor Ghat is one of the most scenic places in the area and you can see it while travelling on the Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express. In fact, this section of the journey is one of the most loved by the passengers. Whether it is rainy or sunny, this section of the route is always beautiful.

Instagrammer Shahrukh also captured the Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express traversing breathtaking landscapes in a video in July. In his caption, he calls the Bhor Ghat section between Lonavala and Karjat “a view that is unique and never seen before.”

Covering a distance of 455 kilometres in 6 hours and 35 minutes, the Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express has 16 coaches and runs at an average speed ranging from 69.15 to 70 km/hour. The Bhor Ghat section of this train is among the toughest Railway ghat sections in the county, as per railways officials. The section is almost 25 kilometres long and is spread between the Karjat and Khandala Stations. This high gradient ghats has a difficult terrain with multiple tunnels and high via-ducts but is an absolute delight for the eyes!

Now, this is one journey we would love to take! Which is the most scenic train route that you have ever taken? Let us know in the comments section.
