According to NBC News, the terror group ISIS claimed responsibility for the heinous act, although concrete evidence supporting their assertion is yet to be provided.
Crocus City Hall, a sprawling concert venue situated northwest of central Moscow, was slated to host a performance by a popular rock band on what appeared to be a sold-out evening. With a maximum capacity of over 9,000 attendees, the venue quickly turned from a scene of anticipated entertainment to one of unspeakable horror.

His sentiments were relayed by Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova. She emphasised the government’s commitment to addressing the aftermath of this tragedy.
- According to NBC News reports, Revelations have emerged that the United States had previously shared intelligence with Russian authorities regarding a potential terrorist threat in Moscow.
- Shockingly, it has also been revealed that the security personnel stationed at Crocus City Hall were unarmed at the time of the attack.
