  • 3 cups soaked and boiled chana (chickpeas)
  • 1/2 cup spring onions (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup onions (finely chopped)
  • 1.5 tsp grated ginger
  • 1.5 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp haldi (turmeric)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1.5 tsp jeera (cumin) powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp besan (gram flour)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Soak And Boil: Soak chana overnight and boil until soft.
  2. Mash Well: Mash the chana thoroughly for a smooth texture.
  3. Mix & Shape: Combine all ingredients and shape the mixture into small patties.
  4. Shallow Fry: Cook in a greased pan until golden brown and crispy.
