Just a few months back, the work on the 394-metre-long Additionally Driven Intermediate Tunnel leading to two additional faces for excavation marked its completion.
The most recent update of the highly significant 21 km-long tunnel excavation work in Mumbai is the completion of its 700 metres of tunnel excavation. According to the information provided on X, around 700 metres of Heading of tunnel excavation from these two faces via ADIT (Additionally Driven Intermediate Tunnel) access is now completed. This portion is excavated.
