They have urged fliers to monitor their flight status constantly for any updates.

IMD Predicts Heavy To Very Rainfall In The City

With moderate to heavy rain in the city and suburbs, the maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are 29°C and 24°C, respectively. IMD has predicted intense spells of rain at various isolated places in Mumbai during Friday afternoon. Keeping all this in mind, they have issued an orange alert for Mumbai for Friday and Saturday.

If such weather persists, transport facilities including rail, road, and air will be affected. Earlier this week, Mumbai woke up to heavily waterlogged roads and railway lines that affected transportation in the city. Also, nearly 50 flights were cancelled, and hundreds were delayed and diverted amid heavy rainfall.

The continuous downpours are impacting people’s lives and affecting transportation in the city as well. We hope the weather conditions improve in Mumbai soon. What has been your worst experience with Mumbai’s rain? Let us know in the comments!
