Mumbai Airport Becomes India’s 1st To Achieve Level 4 Customer Experience Accreditation From ACI

A new day comes with a new feather to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport’s cap. In a press release, the airport made the grand announcement of achieving the remarkable Level 4 in the Airports Council International (ACI) World Airport Customer Experience Accreditation. It is indeed a humongous recognition and a marvellous reason to celebrate and set new goals to achieve.

Mumbai Airport Received The Level 4 Accreditation From ACI On 5 September

Taking to the micro-blogging platform X (formerly Twitter), the airport shared how it has been bestowed with the recognition. It also emphasised how ensuring passenger delight is its top priority.

Several measures and initiatives of the airport are the reasons behind its extreme growth and advancement and receiving esteemed recognition. From customer journey mapping to monitoring customer experience indicators to valet parking facilities, many significant steps have helped the airport enhance its overall travel experiences.

Some of the many notable facilities are e-gates, video analytics to manage wait times in passenger processing, enhanced navigation signage, real-time flight information through digital displays, and a lot more. These help Mumbai airport to assist passengers with convenient journeys, reduce the waiting period, and more.

A spokesperson of the airport said, “Securing Level 4 Accreditation by ACI underscores our relentless commitment to excellence at CSMIA. It not only represents an accomplishment, but our unwavering dedication to passenger satisfaction, environmental sustainability, and operational excellence. We look ahead with enthusiasm and are ready to elevate travelling experiences and also set new standards in global aviation”, according to the press release.

For the first time in the aviation industry of India, Mumbai Airport clinched the prestigious recognition of Level 4 in the Airports Council International (ACI) World Airport Customer Experience Accreditation. With this, it is also the second airport in the Asia-Pacific region and the third airport in the entire world to achieve this globally esteemed certification. Recognition at such a glorifying scale is indeed a momentous achievement.
