Bustling crowds, decked-up streets and homes, and the festive vibe all around, that’s what Mumbai is all about during these 10 days! And the next few days of the Ganesh Utsav is going to see moderate rainfall, as per IMD’s latest forecast. Pleasant rain showers are going to take over Mumbai till September 14 and here’s all you need to know about the weather conditions in the city for the next few days.

IMD Predicts Moderate Rain In Mumbai During Ganesh Utsav

Amid Ganesh Utsav, Mumbai will see moderate rainfall over the next few days. As per the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) latest forecast, occasional moderate showers are expected in the city and suburbs till September 14. During this time, the minimum temperature in the city will be around 26°C, while the maximum is expected to reach 32°C.

According to IMD’s Regional Meteorological Centre in Mumbai, a “partly cloudy sky with possibility of occasional moderate spells of rain in city and suburbs” can be expected over the next few days. The forecast further suggested that several parts of Maharashtra can expect moderate to heavy rain spells till Monday evening. However, the intensity of these rain showers will decrease.

Despite the rain in Mumbai, the spirit of Ganesh devotees remains high in the city. Lakhs of people have visited and are expected to visit famous pandals in the city amid these pleasant rain showers.

As per IMD’s forecast for Mumbai, moderate rain will be accompanied by cloudy weather in the next five days. The temperature will also see a slight drop, making Ganesh festival celebrations even more pleasant for Mumbaikars! As per Mint’s report, there is a higher possibility of more rain in the city on September 13 and 14. Furthermore, from September 9 to 12, people in the city can expect moderate and light rainfall with a generally cloudy sky.
