Mumbai: A Home To 66 Billionaires
According to the M3M Hurun Global Rich List, Mumbai is home to 66 billionaires. Following it, two other Indian cities — Delhi and Bangalore have ranked second and third on the list. Moreover, they have ranked among 25 global cities! The number of billionaires in Delhi is 39 while Bangalore is home to 21 of the country’s billionaires. And because a total of 24 Indian cities and towns house around 187 billionaires, India is ranked sixth globally.
According to Hurun, India is marking its place in the world with an increasing number of billionaires. He also mentioned that Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, Dilip Shanghvi, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Radhakishan Damani and Uday Kotak are among the richest people in India. In addition to this, Shiv Nadar from Dellhi has also gained a place amongst the wealthiest. He has also reclaimed the title of ‘India’s Most Generous’
2023 M3M Hurun Global Rich List
Hurun is a leading research and luxury publication and is recognised for its comprehensive evaluation of the richest individuals in the world. The Hurun Global Rich List of the year 2023 states the number of by eight per cent. Moreover, their wealth has dropped by ten per cent in comparison to last year.
The Director of M3M India stated that India’s wealth and GDP are assured to be doubled by the end of the decade. And they are excited to witness the benchmark of wealth creation in India. He further analysed the list and stated that global wealth has taken a setback.
