According to the Free Press Journal, the proposed FOB by MMRDA will connect the SEEPZ station of Metro Line 6 with the Aarey station of the underground Metro Line 3. This bridge will cross over the Jogeshwari Vikroli Link Road (JVLR) and will be 250 metres long.

The authorities plan to allocate ₹43.41 crore for the construction of this FOB connecting the two metro lines. Reportedly, MMRDA has already begun the process of appointing a contractor for the project, and interested contractors can submit their applications by April 28.

The timeline for the project completion is about 15 months. According to the tender terms issued by MMRDA, the contractor will also be responsible for repairing any defects in the bridge for up to five years after its completion. The FOB connecting the two Mumbai Metro lines will have five entry and exit points and be equipped with CCTV cameras, escalators, and lifts.
