Mumbai-based The NGO SheSays’s founder, Trisha Shetty, has stated that her mother was robbed on an IndiGo flight and blamed the airline’s staff for handling the incident improperly. Sharing the incident on social networking platform X, Shetty accused the IndiGo team of failing to assist her mother in submitting a complaint.
IndiGo Flight Staff Slammed For Not Being Helpful
On X, Trisha shared the details of the incident and mentioned that it occurred on flight 6E 17. She explained that her mother’s handbag was placed in the overhead compartment by the cabin crew. Furthermore, she stated how another passenger tried to steal the bag while her mother was asleep. The airline staff failed to offer assistance despite so many complaints from fellow passengers.
In her post, she tagged IndiGo6E and explained the whole incident. She added that her mother woke up, fortunately, as another passenger was attempting to replace her bag. Additionally, she said that the IndiGo staff was attempting to justify the theft and declined to help her lodge a complaint. In the following thread, she added that a fellow passenger supported her mother, and that’s how she got her stuff back. Trisha expressed how deeply troubling this situation was and that the crew handled it quite terribly.
Furthermore, IndiGo addressed this matter and gave the client the assurance that the crew expeditiously resolved the issue and verified that nothing was missing. The crew acknowledged that the passenger may lodge a formal complaint when she arrived, but they respected her choice to drop the subject because she had a connecting flight. Security personnel are stationed close to the plane to help passengers if necessary, according to IndiGo.
Netizens’ Reactions To This Situation
