Shardiya Navratri is all about celebrating Goddess Durga and her nine avatars. The dandiya and garba nights during these nine days just add to the spirit of the festival and are something we all look forward to. This year, a digital creator has given the fun tradition of dancing a hilarious twist by introducing a quirky service called ‘Digital Garba’ for those who miss out on attending these lively events.

Remember the ‘Digital Snan’ that took over your social media feeds during Mahakumbh? Well, this Navratri, it’s time for some ‘Digital Garba’. Recently, digital creator Viraj Ghelani shared a hilarious video where he jokingly offered ‘Digital Garba’ services to his NRI friends this Navratri.
In the video, he is seen standing with pictures of two of his NRI friends. He says, “Yeh mere NRI dost hai aur main yahan India main unka digital garba karwa raha hun, toh aa jao, sath main karwa dete hai inka digital garba.” The video cuts to Viraj dancing while holding his friends’ pictures close to him.
In the caption of the post, he added, “Jis jis ka Digital Garba karvana hai unko tag karo because they are missing the real Garba fun!”
Netizens’ Hilarious Reaction To The Video
As you can imagine, the internet couldn’t help but laugh along with Viraj Ghelani’s quirky digital service. Hundreds of Instagrammers actually tagged their NRI friends, jokingly, of course, while many others got nostalgic and thanked him for the relatable video. Some even playfully asked where they could send their photos to join in.
“Yeh sab schemes sirf iss mulk mai available hoti hai; India is not for beginners,” one comment read.
Someone in the comment said, “Bhai meri kara do, digital garba for all lonely people working at home.”
One NRI actually commented and said, “Bro, I’m in California. We play garba for months, not just 9 days. And that too in person, not digital. Hahaha, but thank you for your kindness though!”
Someone also hilariously commented, “How and where to send photos for this service?”
While Viraj Ghelani’s video is hilarious, it also strikes a chord with many NRIs who miss being part of such festive celebrations back home. What are your thoughts on this ‘digital’ service? Let us know in the comments.
