Mokai in Bandra is known for its Pinterest-y aesthetics and delectable drinks and food. The place has crafted its own space, shifting the conventions of the traditional brunch system that rules on how to gather, eat and celebrate. This is one of many reasons why Mokai has become a crowd favourite.
Recently, Mokai Mumbai took to their Instagram to share an exciting update with the public, stating that they are soon shifting to a new place. In the video, we can see Mokai founder Karreena Bulchandani and their social media icon, Suraksha, in fun banter discussing the new cafe opening.

What Is Mokai’s New Address?

The video highlights the process that goes into shifting to a new place, from PR banters to new menu tasting to social media buzz and lastly to finalising the interiors of the new place. Their playful skit ends with Suraksha revealing the new address of the Mokai Cafe, and any guesses what it is? It’s Bandra’s most loved area, Pali Hill. Yes, Mokai Cafe is shifting to Pali Hill. Mokai Cafe is all set to open on March 19th at 8 am. Team Mokai took to their Instagram to share the new launch date. In the poster shared by the team, it was stated that the cafe is closing its operation tomorrow at the Chapel Road outlet and will start training for a week before starting at its new Pali Hill outlet.
Sharing the video on their socials, they wrote, “Now that you finally know our location, what are you most excited about?” They also revealed that they are still serving all of the crowd’s favourites on the menu. Sharing the feeling about moving to a new place, they stated, “Do you want to know what we and our team feel like right now? Chills. We’re going through every emotion at once. Moving into a new space. Welcoming new food and drinks teams. Thinking about all of you, the people who’ve supported us from the beginning, and wondering what you’ll feel the moment you walk in.”
Sharing more details about the launch, she further revealed, “The craziest part? How Mokai started was literally created for this. A series to build up to the opening of our new space. And now that the moment is actually here, it almost doesn’t feel real – excitement. Nervousness. Gratitude. Happiness. All at the same time, we’re just waiting for you to walk through the door. Opening dates are coming very soon.”
