Mumbaikars, Avoid Kurla & Opt For These Routes Due To Metro-Sewage Line Work

Mumbaikars might have to take different travel routes considering the metro-sewage line work that will begin on October 1, 2022 midnight. The Mumbai Police has issued a notification naming the various routes where vehicular movement will be restricted till March 2023. Here’s Why Mumbaikars Need To Avoid Kurla Road & Take These Routes Instead

Mumbai authorities have planned sewage work and Metro 2B construction, due to which various routes around the city will be affected. This work will take place in the southern stretch of the Santacruz-Chembur link road and the road between Kanakiya Zillion to Kapadiya Nagar. Furthermore, this work will affect vehicular movement; hence travellers have been asked to transit via different routes.

These roads will be shut entirely, keeping the construction of the metro and the sewage line in Mumbai’s Kurla.

Alternate Roads For Vehicle Movement In Mumbai

Keeping the restrictions in place, Mumbai Police has also announced optional routes for vehicle movement. Below are all the routes you can travel right from October 1, 2022, onwards.

Additionally, the Mumbai traffic police have been notified regarding odd-even parking in Kurla. Vehicles are to follow the system from September 21 2022, permanently.
