Muslim World League Chief Al-Issa Visits Akshardham, Walks Gajendra Pith & Interacts With Swamis

Secretary General of the Muslim World League and President of the International Islamic Halal Organisation, Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, visited Delhi’s Akshardham. The Muslim World League Chief spent three hours at the Swaminarayan Akshardham temple. He also walked the Gajendra Pith, interacted with the Swamis, and shared his views with them. Chief Al-Issa is on a five-day visit to India. 

Muslim World League Chief Al-Issa Visits Akshardham

The Muslim World League Chief, Al-Issa, visited Swaminarayan Akshardham in Delhi. On his visit, he spent about three hours in the temple. Talking about his visit, he said that he was completely fascinated by the stone parikrama’s design. The stone carvings, with their detailing and scale of work, also fascinated him. 

He called India a great example of Unity in Diversity and mentioned that his visit to this place of worship, full of peace, love, and harmony, reinforced his belief in it. Chief Al-Issa said that he witnessed the beauty of the shrine, its art, culture, architecture, and values while observing its amazing contribution to the globe. 

He was completely delighted to meet Swami Brahmaviharidas at the temple. They had last met in 2022 in Riyadh at the very first-of-its-kind global interfaith conference. He interacted with Swami Brahmaviharidas on harmony, peace, and co-existence.

A Special Present Was Presented By The Temple

Chief Al-Issa was keen to know about the messages, works, and lives of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj, and other BAPS gurus. 

Appreciating the values of family unity and religious harmony, he walked around the Gajendra Pith. Sanskruti Vihar boat ride, which gives out the message that “The world is one family,” resonates with Chief Al-Issa’s values according to the statement. 

He was touched by the spiritual vows of the Swamis while appreciating the ongoing global spiritual and social work of the BAPS Sanstha. He was also touched to know how humility and spirituality can contribute to the creation of world peace. 

Chief Al-Issa was informed about the upcoming BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, which will become global harmony’s spiritual oasis. He was presented with a miniature Akshardham temple and a golden Amrut Kalash.
