“My Son Doesn’t Respect Me,” 55-YO Single Mother Shares Why She Works As Auto Driver Late Into The Night

A video that is currently making rounds on the Internet and social media shows a single mother talking about why she has to work as an auto driver late into the night despite being 55 years old and having a son. Her story seems to have struck a chord with the Netizens.

Single Mother Shares Why She Works As An Auto Driver

Recently, Ayush Goswami who creates such content for his Instagram handle @aapkartekyaho, came across a middle-aged single mother who works as an auto driver. In a video that has now gone viral on Instagram, Goswami first asks the woman what she does and how old she is.

She says she drives an auto-rickshaw at night and that she is 55 years old. Goswami then makes a note of the time saying that it is 12 AM and asks why she’s driving so late into the night. She replies that has certain extenuating circumstances owing to which she has to drive the rickshaw till late. 

When asked about whether she has any children and how they feel about their mother working so late, she says that she has one son who despite being of age, does not work. As a matter of fact, he fights with her and forces her to give him her hard-earned money. She then wonders that it may be her upbringing that was lacking.
