And now, the minister had put up a post of a well-known personality playing carrom with residents in Nagaland. Well, it did get garner a lot of interest from the Twitter crowd. Featuring a renowned celebrity chef, Temjen tweeted an image of the personality playing carrom against a stunning Nagaland mountain backdrop.

“Pehchan kon?Batao Kaun Nagaland aake Carrom Khel Raha Hain!” read the minister’s post’s caption. And yes, Twitter was quite invested in it. But were you able to guess?

If not, then it’s none other than Chef Kunal Kapur! Twitter was even quick to recognise the personality with most of them giving the correct answers. Some even commented that they are anticipating recipes of Naga-Punjabi fusion dishes. But, how would even that dish taste like?

Temjen also retweeted a picture of Kapur and thanked him for coming to Nagaland. “Thank you @ChefKunalKapur for coming here in Nagaland. Hope you had a wonderful visit & carried good Naga recipes along!” the minister wrote.

Chef Kunal also tweeted how travel holds a very special place in his heart because of the endless memories that he carries along.  His post read, “Here’s me travelling back to the days where we could freely explore the food and traditions of India. This was discovered through my #TravelWithKunal diaries of Nagaland, where I enjoyed their traditional food, dance, and music.”

Not just witty posts, minister Temjen Imna Along seems to be quite a foodie at heart! Apart from the funny comments, he often uses his platform to promote the culture and heritage of Nagaland.

Recently, he posted a cooking video that showed fermented taro leaves with smoked pork, a dish from Nagaland. The short video of 49 seconds detailed the making of the dish. From cutting vegetables to making a special paste for the dish, the clip showcased the step-by-step process of cooking the special dish. Temjen tweeted that the dish reminded him of his mother.
