Namma Metro’s Green Line Faces Technical Snag, Crane Used To Lift Train; Commuters Rant Online

Tuesday morning started on a horrific note for Bengaluru metro passengers. People were ready on time and on their way to reach colleges, offices, and their destinations by travelling in metros. However, the sudden technical issues on the Green line of the Bengaluru metro disrupted everyone’s plans and usual metro facilities. The technical snag was reported very early in the morning on October 3.

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited Made The Announcement

Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, the announcement of the metro disruptions was made at 5:28 AM.

In the tweet, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited shared with Namma Metro commuters “that train services on the Green Line will be available between Nagasandra to Yeshwantpur and Mantri Square to Sampige Road Metro stations”. The reason behind all the chaos among passengers this morning is the technical glitch at Rajajinagar Metro Station.

Passengers Are Terribly Frustrated About The Green Line

All the major waiting while standing amidst huge crowds at metro stations made each and every commuter very frustrated. Not only they had to wait for long and face inconveniences but they got late to reach their destinations too. Namma metro is a preferred mode of transportation for a huge number of commuters every day and such an issue at a peak time made everyone’s experiences terrible.

Commuters are taking to social media platforms to share about the distressing situations and what kind of issues they are facing due to the technical glitch.

In the morning, a few metro trains were running at a very slow speed, shared some Netizens. Hardly people were able to get inside the metros running on the Green Line of the Bengaluru metro due to the intense crowd and chaos.

According to the most recent videos surfacing online, the process of shifting the derailed train on the track using a crane began about 2 hours back. Before attempting to do the tracking operation using a crane, the concerned authorities and engineers spent hours shifting the derailed train on the track, according to a report by Asianet Newsable.

Bengalureans had to face many difficulties for the technical snag.
