1. 35000 Popsicles Distributed To Dubai Workers

With the Al Freej Fridge campaign taking place in full swing, Dubai workers are in for a treat. Yes, over 35,000 popsicles, juices, and water bottles are being distributed in Dubai. Run by volunteers, five trucks will be going around the neighbourhood in morning and evening shifts. Each of the trucks covers 10 areas of Dubai every day and carries about 7,000 ice cream sticks, juices, water, and snacks. It’s certainly a relief for people working in the outdoors, workers are left feeling relieved.

2. NCM Relays About UAE Temperature

As the temperatures continue to soar in the UAE, a weather report by the National Centre of Meteorology shows that there might be light to moderate winds and dust is expected to blow. This can happen in the eastward direction and the temperature is expected to be as low as 26° and as high as 49° in some internal regions.

3. Man Airlifted In Sharjah After Suffering Heart Attack

Recently, a man was airlifted after he suffered a heart attack in the mountains of Sharjah. The incident occurred in the mountains of Jabal Al Rabi, which lies in Khor Fakkan. The National Search and Rescue Center along with Sharjah Civil Defense Authority airlifted this man as shown in the video posted by National Search and Rescue Center on their Instagram account.

4. Yaser Al Qubaisi Discusses Belts For Jiu-Jitsu

Yaser Al Qubaisi who is the technical supervisor at UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation discusses different belts across two age groups. For below and above the age of 18, a practitioner will be able to earn white, grey, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown, and black belts. As it happens, these belts are given on the basis of age, practice, technique, and skill. The black belt is the highest level of belt given to the practitioner of this sport.

5. Khalifa Fund For Enterprise Development Launches SWAN Programme

The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development SWAN programme aims to train UAE national women entrepreneurs. The aim is to give them training on how to transform their home-based businesses into licensed commercial enterprises. This programme is underway in Abu Dhabi and participants will be eligible for business funding once they successfully complete the same. Not to mention, it’s bound to empower UAE national businesswomen and contribute to the economy of Abu Dhabi as well.

6. Ocha Cafe To Promote Ishikawa’s Shika Town Products

Ocha Cafe Sakura in Abu Dhabi is holding a campaign to promote Ishikawa’s Shika town in Japan. With the aim of promoting this town, several products like seashell accessories are being a cafe. Happening till July 31, this is to promote this island, which had a big earthquake at the beginning of the year. It’s worth mentioning that they are still trying to recover, as soon as possible while also introducing beauty beach and Sakura shell products.
