Need A Driver’s Licence ASAP? Here’s All About Fujairah’s New One-Day Test Driving Licence!

Attaining a driver’s licence is quite important. This milestone is an important part of taking a step into adulthood and becoming self-reliant in one of the many ways. However, sometimes this process can be quite difficult, as the test and processing takes quite a bit of time. To make the process easier and faster in Fujairah of the UAE, a new initiative called One-Day Test has been announced. Here’s all about it.

Fujairah Police Launches One-Day Test Driver Licence

Fujairah Police has collaborated with the Traffic and Licensing Service Centre to announce an initiative called One-Day Test. With this initiative, getting a driver’s license has become easier and faster than ever! With the goals of the initiative aligning with those of the Ministry of Interior and the UAE National Agenda for improving the quality of life of the community, this step is bound to make life easier for many people.

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that this move has especially been tailored for national service recruits. This means that recruits and high school students are eligible for the service in Fujairah. Additionally, with this move, Fujairah aims to increase customer satisfaction and happiness as well. In case you’re wondering about the process, this service comprises two levels – electronic and in-person, as per Siasat.com.

The Test Comprises 2 Levels

The first level is done electronically, which requires no personal presence. The first step includes opening a file to issue the new driver’s license and attending theory classes. Once the person passes the theory tests online, they are moved to the second stage, which includes practical training. After this, the final day of preliminary and civil exams will be held on the same day.

Not just Fujairah, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah also launched similar initiatives in 2003 which benefited 194 in two weeks.
