It is aimed at ensuring the worker’s safety, well-being and also compliance with labour laws. With each of the emirates having a streamlined process for obtaining the permit, the process is easy and simple. So, whether you are conducting inventory management or any other essential task in commercial stores, this temporary permit allows you the authority to keep your business running smoothly, even after the designated hours.

How To Apply For Permit In Dubai

The permits are issued after the property management owner and the central bank gives no objection. After this, a night work permit in Dubai is valid for up to 14 days from the start date that is indicated on the application. However, you do need to submit a few documents and they are as follows:

  • Establishments permit or shopping mall permit.
  • You must complete a form on the Dubai Police website, which includes details like Emirates ID, email address, work category, work type and shop name.
  • Select the date and time and repeat the steps for each of the workers that will be working. The permit is usually given for inventory management, billboard, installation, or even cinematography.

The service fee is AED100, the knowledge fee is AED10 and the innovation fee is AED10. The service fee can be paid in cash, debit card or through Apple Pay and the permit can be obtained through the channels of the Dubai Police App, the Dubai Police website, smart police stations, and police stations.

How To Apply In Abu Dhabi

Similarly, if you are applying for a work permit in Abu Dhabi, you will need to submit the following documents during the application process.

  • Employees’ valid residency permits copy
  • Identity cards photocopied from both sides
  • Copy of the signature authorisation
  • A letter from the Central Bank. It must also have an automated alarm number, applicable only to banks, currency exchanges, and gold shops
  • A list of employees’ names in Arabic, this must include name, nationality, and identity card number.
  • An official letter that is addressed to the Criminal Investigations Department in Arabic.
  • Commercial licence of the store and the implementing company

To get the permit, all you need to do is log in using UAE PASS or visit the service centre. After this, you must submit an application and the aforementioned documents. Thereafter, you will receive a temporary evening work permit. It’s worth mentioning that obtaining a work permit for an evening in Abu Dhabi requires no additional cost and is generally issued in four hours.
