It wasn’t too long ago when we told you about the Dubai RTA vending machines that allow you to renew your driving license. However, the next question that arises is, where can you find such vending machines? Talking about all of this and more, here’s a list of locations where you can find the renewal machines.

Driving License Renewal – Documents & Fees

Talking about the renewal of a driving license in Dubai, it’s a super-easy process. As revealed by the Gulf News, there are several requirements that are listed across the categories by the Dubai RTA for the renewal. For instance, for all nationalities, there must be a valid Emirates ID, a medical fitness test if the applicant is a professional driver, and an eye test.

Diplomats, however, will need a letter from the Ministry for Affairs and an Emirates ID or diplomatic card for embassies, consulates and international organisations. The service fee for customers younger than 21 years old is AED100, while the knowledge and innovation fee is AED20. And customers older than 21 years will have to pay AED300 for driving license renewal, with AED 20 for the knowledge and innovation fee.

Coming to the locations of the Dubai RTA renewal machines, they are situated across 12 places in Dubai. These are as follows:

  2. Tamam Vehicle Testing

  4. Customer Happiness Centre – Al Manarah
  5. Tasjeel Al Tawar
  6. Customer Happiness Centre – Al Twar

  10. Customer Happiness Centre – Al Barsha
  11. Al Qusais Tasjeel

What About the Process?

The process itself is quite simple. First, you need to take an eye test at the centre affiliated with the Dubai RTA. After this, the customer will log into the RTA website with their UAE pass or Emirates ID and driving license number. After selecting ‘renewing A Driving License,’ the customer will have to confirm their driving license details and delivery method. Once done, the customer will settle all the required fees and fines and then receive a digital driving license. After this, they can choose to receive a physical copy through the self-service machine or get it delivered to their residents for a fee.
