Neena Replaces Onions With Mooli While Making Sabzi

Neena Gupta often posts cooking videos on Instagram and one can always learn something new from them. This time around, we learned that onions can be replaced with mooli while cooking a sabzi! In her recent post, Neena is seen cooking Aloo Shimla Mirch Sabzi. What’s different about this sabzi is that it is cooked with mooli instead of onions!

In her video, Neena talks about how she got this idea from her friend and decided to try it out for herself. She cooked the sabzi as usual but replaced onions with grated mooli. In fact, she even cooked the mooli as one does with onions while preparing the tadka for a sabzi. The end result? According to Neena Gupta, the “experiment was successful!” She said that one can’t even tell it was made without onions or even make out the mooli flavours in the sabzi. Pretty interesting, isn’t it?
