Neeru Bajwa Cooks Occasionally; Makes These Dishes Well

Neeru Bajwa

For this episode of our Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met with the lovely Jatt & Juliet co-stars, Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh. They were in Mumbai to promote the third instalment of their Jatt & Juliet films. While chatting about food, we discovered some of the best dishes they can cook. Any guesses? Scroll to read about it.

What Can Neeru Bajwa Cook?

We are massive foodies and can talk about food for hours at a stretch! We couldn’t ignore the subject of food when our Punjabi guests, Neeru and Diljit, were with us. We also love to ask our guests whether they know how to cook and if yes, what their speciality is.

Diljit told us that he got into cooking during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is great at whipping up yummy chicken dishes. We would love to eat some of your special chicken dishes, Diljit ji! That is also a great idea for one of our next episodes with you Paaji.

Next, Neeru told us that she cooks occasionally. Then she thought for a while about her food specialities as she doesn’t spend much time in the kitchen. She told us that she is great with dishes like pasta and yellow daal with tadka. That sounds great, we would also love to taste these, Neeru!

What Is Her Cheat Meal?

We served a special Maharashtrian and North Indian cuisine to our Jatt & Juliet co-stars. It consisted of delectable items such as pohe, chole, vada pav, bhajiya, chaat and more. Neeru being the true Punjabi she is, picked the bowl of yummy chole.

When Kamiya pointed this out, the Punjabi-Canadian actress said that oily food doesn’t tempt her. Further, she told us that her cheat meals are full of dal, paratha with dollops of ghee or butter and even pizza. However, she avoids oily food at all costs.

This is the reason she skips samosas and chole bhature! She said, “I would rather have a parantha.” Neeru also skipped the crispy bhajiya and delicious vada pav served to her and enjoyed her bowl of chole for most of our video.
