It was sent to Nandini Mehta, the former director of business and legal affairs at Netflix in India, according to a report by India Today. Back in 2020, she left Netflix India. A portion of the government email pointed out several concerns such as visa violations, racial discrimination, and the globally famous streaming giant’s overall business procedures in India.

Official Deepak Yadav stated in the letter about receiving details regarding the above-mentioned matter “w.r.t (with respect to) the stated company’s conduct, visa violation, tax evasion, illegal structures and other malpractices.” All these also include different incidents related to racial discrimination.
