While we expect delivery agents to safely deliver our food orders in proper packaging to our homes from restaurants and cafes, our expectations do not turn into realities often. According to the Reddit post shared by a user from Bengaluru, a Swiggy delivery boy ate some food items from the order instead of delivering the entire package properly to the customer.
The delivery guy stated that he was in a hurry. Also, he stated that his vehicle faced some problems so he could not visit the customer’s doorstep and deliver the order. “In my case, the delivery partner was in a hurry and quoted a problem with his vehicle as the reason for not coming to the doorstep,” the Redditor shared.
The Swiggy user was shocked to open the food order packaging, quite understandably. It was the first time that something bizarre like this happened to them. Following the surprising incident, Swiggy initiated a refund for all the food items that were missing.
