- This 6-lane highway project is under the Bharatmala Pariyojana.
- This project is getting constructed “from Jaitpur-Pushta Road to the junction near the KMP Expressway section of National Highway 148”, as shared by Nitin Gadkari mentioned in his tweet.
- This is a 50 km stretch and will create road connections between Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh and also bounding Ballabhgarh, Faridabad, Noida, and Palwal.
- The Minister also revealed that this highway will help in reducing the travel duration by 3-4 hours from Delhi and Noida to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
- The estimated cost of the project is ₹2,627 crores.
- This 6-lane access-controlled highway is going to be a significant road for traffic between Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
- Another massive importance of this road is connecting with other highways as well.
- Once the journey starts on this road, the connection between East Delhi and North Delhi with Ghaziabad and Noida will get a boost as well.
