These newly launched and soon-to-begin routes in FY25 are set to make international travel from Mumbai a lot easier. With direct connectivity to new destinations, travellers can skip layovers and reach their favourite places faster. Whether it’s for a holiday or exploring a lesser-known city, these new routes offer a lot more flexibility.
1. Manchester, UK
IndiGo has started direct flights to Manchester from July 2025, three times a week. This rich northern English city is known for its nightlife, history and yes, football (home to the legendary Manchester United). You can now fly long-haul and non-stop from Mumbai to this vibrant UK destination. Moreover, this place is also known for its amazing museums and art galleries.
2. Amsterdam, Netherlands
IndiGo has also launched non-stop flights to Amsterdam, three times a week. This popular European city is famous for its museums, canals, scenic views and stunning architecture. Not only that but Amsterdam is also known for its world-famous spots like Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank’s house and much more.
3. Almaty, Kazakhstan
Want to explore underrated Kazakhstan? IndiGo is launching international flights to Almaty from Mumbai three times a week. Surrounded by the Tien Shan mountains, this Central Asian city is known for its art scene, museums and history. While there, you can also explore Big Almaty Lake, which is surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks!
4. Copenhagen, Denmark
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is all set to start direct international flights between Mumbai and Copenhagen in 2026. This marks SAS’s return to India after 17 years! The Danish capital is known for its food, colourful architecture and lively streets. Besides that, history lovers can check out Rosenborg Castle and the National Museum of Denmark.

5. Seychelles, East Africa
IndiGo launched direct international flights from Mumbai to Seychelles in March 2025, four times a week. Also, this East African island nation is famous for its white sand beaches, turquoise water and marine life. A perfect tropical escape for travellers, and that too without any layovers!
6. Manila, Philippines
Air India is set to become the first Indian airline to launch non-stop flights between India and the Philippines. Starting from October 1, 2025, these flights will operate three times a week. Manila is known for its nightlife, shopping malls and amazing food. What’s more? Manila also houses San Agustin Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest stone church in the Philippines.
7. Krabi, Thailand
IndiGo has already started direct flights to Krabi, six times a week. This is the airline’s third destination in Thailand after Bangkok and Phuket. Besides that, Krabi offers stunning islands, breathtaking limestone cliffs, Phi Phi Islands and exciting water sports like snorkelling and diving.
8. Tbilisi, Georgia
Excited to know about more new international flights from Mumbai? IndiGo is also set to launch direct flights to Tbilisi from Mumbai in August 2025, three times a week. Known for its old-town charm and wine culture, this Georgian city is a must-visit. And now, no layovers are needed!

9. Athens, Greece
Dreaming of holidaying in Greece? IndiGo is also launching direct flights to Athens as part of its European expansion. 10. Siem Reap, Cambodia
Soon, you’ll be able to fly non-stop to Siem Reap from Mumbai with IndiGo. This underrated gem is home to the Angkor Wat( a Hindu-Buddhist temple complex which is a UNESCO Heritage Site), floating villages and a great culinary scene.
