We were playing a fun game of ‘This or That’ where Nitin had to choose his favourite food item. Kamiya gave him the choice between Puran Poli or Thalipeeth. The enthusiastic foodie revealed that he loves both of these dishes. Our guest shared that he has to have a small bowl of ghee with Puran Poli. He only consumes this dish by dipping it in oodles of ghee!

Further, he focused on Thalipeeth and its various types. Nitin said, “Mumbai’s Aaswad and Prakesh sell some of the tasty Thalipeeth!” Nitin was invited for a lunch session by an ex-chief minister. An array of food items was served, and being a Thalipeeth lover, our guest ate it.

He knew it wasn’t a homemade Thalipeeth the moment he took a bite. For further enquiry, he asked the chief minister about where the dish was ordered from. This question stunned the ex-chief minister as he claimed that it was from his house.

Nitin had 100% faith in his tastebuds and replied, “No, it can’t be. This Thalipeeth is from Prakesh.” This comment annoyed the ex-chief minister, and he made his secretary call his home and confirm this revelation. Finally, the call confirmed what Nitin had been claiming for a minute or so!

Honestly, he is the biggest foodie we have ever met who is not only passionate about food but can also recognise restaurants by just tasting their dishes!

Our guest shared that he can effortlessly identify the restaurant from the dishes and enjoys doing so. This prompted Kamiya to ask whether he is still able to visit his favourite eateries and relish the best-sellers on the menu. Nitin said, “I usually go out to eat after 10:30 or 11 PM, and two to three guards tag along with me to the restaurants.”
