NCR folks have long been waiting for the much-anticipated Noida International Airport (NIA) to finally begin the services and make travel much more convenient. Now, the countdown has finally begun and the airport is all set for its grand inauguration in April 2025. In a strategic move and a bid to take convenience to the next level, NIA has decided to offer direct bus services that will connect the airport with major cities in Uttarakhand.
Direct Buses From Noida Airport To Uttarakhand
In a significant step to improve regional connectivity, NIA has joined hands with Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC) to launch bus services between the airport and Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Haldwani, as per the reports from Times of India. This service will make travel easier and hassle-free travel for both residents and tourists. With the launch of these direct bus services, Uttarakhand’s scenic and spiritual destinations will be more accessible than ever.
Whether you wish to take a trip to Rishikesh for a spiritual retreat or explore the scenic beauty of Haldwani, these direct buses will make connectivity smoother than ever. A direct flight to Noida International Airport will lead to a direct bus to Uttarakhand. This route doesn’t even involve an auto or a taxi to take the bus! Uttarakhand’s breathtaking destinations will now be just a bus ride away for domestic and international travellers. Just hop on a bus and get ready to explore your favourite destinations. This initiative is also expected to increase tourist footfall in the state, which will also help the region’s economy.

Due to its proximity to the Yamuna Expressway, the airport offers easy access by road to Delhi NCR, Noida, and other locations. Now, NIA and UTC’s vast road network will work together to provide efficient transportation for locals and tourists alike. According to Times of India reports, Noida International Airport will also help ease traffic congestion at Delhi’s IGI Airport. With Noida International Airport gearing up for its big launch in April 2025, these new bus services will ensure seamless travel, better accessibility, and an overall hassle-free journey for travellers.
Whether you’re flying in for business, heading to the mountains for a weekend getaway, or seeking a spiritual retreat, Uttarakhand is now just a direct bus ride away!
