Flights To Dubai, Zurich & Singapore Soon From Noida Airport
According to Moneycontrol, the upcoming Noida International Airport will start operations on April 17 with flights to over 30 destinations. This will include 25 domestic flights, three international flights, and two cargo flights. A senior executive of Noida International Airport Limited confirmed that the airport authorities are in the process of negotiating with both domestic and international airlines to operate regular flights starting April 2025.
On the international front, they’re finalising flight operations to Singapore, Dubai, and Zurich from April 2025. On the domestic end, the airport will link Noida to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Dehradun, and Hubli for now. By the end of 2025, the airport authorities plan to begin flight operations to Munich and Brussels, and negotiations for the same are underway. It is to be noted that, for now, international flights are being discussed for only six months of operations from launch.
Work On NIAL Terminal Nearing Completion Stage
More than 80% of the work at the Noida International Airport terminal had been completed as of January 2025. This means that the new airport is on track for the April launch. Reportedly, work on the air traffic control (ATC) tower, including its glass façade and the operational systems mandated by the Airport Authority of India (AAI), has also been completed.
While addressing the Rajya Sabha, Minister for Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu said that regular operations are expected to commence in April at the Noida Airport in Jewar. Once flight operations start, the airport will become the largest airport in Asia.
