It’s returning for its fourth edition from November 28 to December 14 and it will transform Riyadh into a luminous gallery. Yes, with more than 60 light-based artworks, these masterpieces will be by leading Saudi and international artists. As reported by the Saudi Press Agency, this year’s theme is Light Years Apart and the 17-Day festival will illuminate key locations spread across the city. So, it will showcase public galleries that are displayed alongside workshops, seminars, and community-driven events to keep people engaged for these 17 days.

Launched in 2021, this festival is a part of the Riyadh Programme, which is one of the four brand projects that has been launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosque, King Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud. This is in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the programme is managed by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City. A creative platform for showcasing inspiring light artwork by leading artists from around the world, it enhances the cultural landscape of Riyadh.
