Not One But Thailand To Get 8 New Airlines As Travel Revives In The Country; List Inside

Thailand, for many years, was the ultimate vacation destination in Asia. Tranquil tropical landscape, ancient temples, mouth-watering street food, and epic nightlife – this country had it all! However, just like many things in life, covid crippled the ever-flourishing Thai tourism. Now, a few years later, the situation seems to be improving as Thailand is seeing a tourism boom. And to aid this recovery, new Thai airlines will take flight soon. There are eight new airlines in Thailand that will start operations. The country is expecting to attract 35 million foreign visitors in 2024 and these new airlines will help with that.

Here Are The The 8 New Airlines In Thailand That Will Begin Service Soon

1. Really Cool Airlines

Founded by former chief executive of Nok Airlines Pcl, Patee Sarasin, Really Cool Airlines is one of the much-talked-about new airlines in Thailand. Starting services in March with flights mainly to Japan, the airlines will mainly target Asian destinations in the initial two years.

2. Pattaya Airways

Launched by PATTAYA Group, a popular name in the aviation industry, Pattaya Airways is likely to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2024. They received the Air Operating License (AOL) in 2023 from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand.

3. Asian Aerospace Services

Asian Aerospace Services is a known name in Thailand for its aircraft maintenance and services. They are soon going to begin their airline operations to improve the air connectivity of Thailand to other countries.

4. Avanti Air Charter

Another name that will see operations this year is Avanti Air Charter. Like the other airlines, Avanti Air will also be receiving financial support from the government to begin operations and provide employment in Thailand.

5. Siam Seaplane

Thailand’s first seaplane airline – Siam Seaplane – will also commence commercial operations in 2024. According to reports, Siam Seaplane is likely to add amphibian planes to its fleet. They are mainly looking forward to serving high-end customers with this airline.

6. Asia Atlantic Airlines

A popular charter airline in Thailand, Asia Atlantic Airlines is looking to enter domestic and international markets this year. The timeline isn’t specified yet but according to reports they will be flying by the second half of 2024.

7. M-Landarch

Known to specialise in electronics and advanced technologies, M-Landarch will make its airline debut this year. They have already received their air operator’s licence (AOL) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT).

8. P80 Air

P80 Air is aiming to start its operations in the third quarter of 2024. This startup has already secured its AOL from Thailand’s Ministry of Transport and has further applied for the Air Operating Licence.
