While talking about how she likes to travel to spiritual places, she shared that she travels alone and has a good reason for it too! Scroll on to find out!

Sunita Ahuja Loves To Travel Alone

During a tête-à-tête with our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani, Sunita Ahuja shared that she loves to travel, especially to spiritual places and visit temples there. She said now that her kids, Tina and Yashvardan Ahuja are all grown up, she makes it a point to travel every month to one such place to grasp some “positivity and energy”.

“I live for myself now,” she revealed smilingly. So, how does Sunita ji like to travel–with friends or solo? “Mujhe solo hi acha lagta hai,” she promptly replied. She revealed that she wakes up daily at 3:30 AM and hits the bed at 9:30 PM every day, no matter where she is! After waking up early, she also meditates for a while before starting her day.

She feels that if she travels with someone like her friends, her husband Govinda, or her kids, the routine would be disturbed and affect both parties. That’s why she chooses to travel alone, keep her routine in place, and experience serenity in all the new places she visits and temples she prays at.

Sunita Ahuja feels that every woman should take time out for herself during the day. She feels that women often make their husbands and kids their entire lives and don’t live how they wish to live. That’s why, on her birthdays, she travels alone. She shared that it has been 12 years since she has been celebrating her birthday alone. So, where does she travel to? Sunita ji revealed that she would go to “Mata ka mandir, gurudwara, Pashupatinath Temple,” or some other place of worship. Mind you, she maintains a balance between puja and party on her birthday! After doing all the pujas, she likes to indulge in some cake and liquor, and have a blast, solo!
