Travel experiences can get hilarious at times, especially when one travels solo to romantic locations. The same happened with actress Nushrratt Bharuccha. Guess what, she travelled to some top romantic destinations like Kashmir and the Maldives all alone. In a recent Curly Tales Sunday Brunch and Mashable Bombay Journey crossover, Nushrratt revealed how locals in Kashmir were taken by surprise when they realised she was travelling alone.
Locals In Kashmir Couldn’t Believe That Nushrratt Bharuccha Was Travelling Alone
While enjoying a ride through the bustling Mumbai streets with Curly Tales Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani Verma and Mashable India’s Siddharth Aalambayan, Nushrratt said that when she went to Kashmir, everybody was staring at her as if she has lost some marble of her head. “Because you go to Kashmir on a honeymoon or with family..”, she said.
She narrated how the ticket men at Gulmarg cable car station asked her who is accompanying her when her turn came to take the ride. “Mein akele khari hu aur jo ticket wale hain.. mera turn aya ..they asked aapke saath kaun …I said mein akele hu..wo do log mujhe dekhke kuch Kashmiri mein baat kare.. then they asked family kiddhar hain..I said I am alone.. baggi ( cable car) dedo. They couldn’t believe it..they called everybody there …just to see me as if I am some monument.”, said Nushrratt.

After Surprising Locals, Nushrratt Got A Solo Travel Car
“There was a couple in front of me. They suggested I go with them. I was like .. Are you crazy? I am not going with a couple.” Nushrratt said that then she finally got a solo travel car.
“When I went on top, there was no one to take my photo. There was an uncle and he thought I was part of his family because he came with some ten kids. He couldn’t recognise anybody as we were in cap and muffler. So, he was like ye humare hi group ki bacche hain”., continued the actress.
Nushrratt added that the uncle called him and she even went ahead and then his wife told him that she is not a part of his family. Nushrratt then told him that she came alone. The best part is that he clicked her pictures too. Nushrratt’s wish was fulfilled.
