Oklahoma’s Tulsa Airport Has Visitor Pass Program That Allows Non-Travellers To Access Airport Terminal

For those who have never visited an airport, have you wondered how it looks from the inside? Well, if you are willing to visit, then Oklahoma’s Tulsa Airport has a new ‘Visitor Pass Programme’ that enables you to access the terminal. Here’s everything you need to know about the visitor pass.

Tulsa Airport Has A Visitor Pass Programme

Tulsa International Airport is the most recent airport in the US to introduce a visitor pass programme for non-travellers. Visitors can apply for the pass up to seven days in advance, and the programme is now free to use. According to a Simple Flying report, the airport TUL introduced its Visitor Pass Programme enabling anyone who isn’t flying through the airport to enter the secure portion of the terminal.

The need for “enhanced airport experiences” has increased, as has the need for individuals to enter terminals to greet friends and family members who are arriving and to spend longer time with those who are departing. The pass also gives everyone access to the airport’s dining, drinking, and shopping opportunities.

On the airport’s website, there are three easy steps in the application procedure. There is a limited number of spots available, however, online applications are available on the airport website and can be submitted up to seven days in advance or the day of the visit. The slots are taken if there is no ability to choose a start date or time. The only information needed is the person’s full name, birthdate, and gender.

All applications are reviewed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in a matter of minutes—15 minutes for those who apply for passes on the day of their intended visit and after midnight for those who apply in advance. Once accepted, an email confirmation with the pass attached will be received, and this must be presented at the TSA checkpoint. All travellers must enter the airport via the standard TSA queue because utilising CLEAR and PreCheck are not permitted.
