1. Dubai RTA Receives Intellectual Property Certificate

Recently, the Dubai RTA received an Intellectual Property certificate. This certificate was given for a solar-powered electric abra and was received from the UAE Ministry of Economy. For those who are not aware, the electric abra was launched the previous year.

2. A Rare Book On Display At Abu Dhabi International Book Fair

At the ongoing Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, a rare 14th-century book is on display. This is basically a manuscript of Ibn Sina, who is also the focus personality at the event. Valued at AED4,64,550, this event is a must-attend for bibliophiles.

3. Oman Crown Prince Gets Married

The Crown Prince of Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said of Oman got married on Thursday. For those who are not aware, he is the son of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. This happened in a private ceremony at the Al Alam Palace in Muscat. The private ceremony was attended by the members of the royal family, and the pictures were circulated on social media.

4. Smart Book Launched For Hajj Pilgrimage

Saudi Arabia has launched a smart guide, which is available in several languages for the Hajj pilgrimage. This is a part of its preparation for an annual religious congregation. The smart book of rituals is basically an electronic guide. It is available in the languages of French, Urdu, English, Arabic, Malayalam, and Turkish.

5. 5.31 M Visitors Welcomed In Dubai

It was recently revealed that 5,310,000 international visitors were welcomed by Dubai. This was between January and March 2025. It marked a 3% year-on-year increase compared to the same quarter of 2024. The data was published by Dubai’s Department of Economy & Tourism.
