“I Am Very Private, That Makes My Characters More Believable,” Feels Gaurav Gera

Gaurav Gera Is A Very Private Person

During a game of ‘Never Have I Ever’ on Sunday Brunch, Gaurav Gera revealed some interesting aspects of his life and career. When our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani asked if he had ever felt like stepping away from public life to live more privately, he responded, “I’m pretty private. Itne saalon se, I don’t post my pictures, I don’t post my family’s pictures, main kahan hoon—I never tell. Tum mere characters dekho!”

“I also think it makes my characters more believable. People think, ‘Yahi hai yeh!’ I like my private life,” he added.

A Deliberate Choice To Stay Private?

When Kamiya Jani asked if it was a conscious decision for Gaurav Gera to keep his personal life private, the actor responded, “I think it shouldn’t be anybody’s interest. Also, I was almost married, but then main peeche hat gaya tha. That was many years ago.”

When asked if he plans to get married now, Gaurav Gera shared, “Nahi. I think I’m difficult to deal with, I’m very moody. Agar kisi aur ka mann hai ki aaj movie dekhenge, toh mujhe nahi hota. I can’t do it. I am myself. If I feel like it, I’ll do it; if I don’t, then I won’t. I’ve lived alone for many years now, toh mujhe aisi zaroorat nahi hoti.”
