Did you know honey bees lived only for 60-90 days? Or did you know that the female bee is actually called the Queen Bee? On our recent visit to Hatta Honey Bee Garden, which is the largest honey producer in the UAE, we learnt many fun facts about honeybees.
Deana Uppal spent a day at the farm and her guide for the day was none other than the owner himself, H.E. Sheikh Saleem Engineer Bin Al Qasimi who is the ruling family member. His love and passion for bees is evident as this bee garden houses 4,000 bee colonies producing 20 tonnes of honey every season.
