Exploring IIT Delhi With Chetan Bhagat X Sahiba Bali

In this episode of Tere Gully Mein, we explored monumental places infamous writer and author Chetan Bhagat’s childhood and college life in New Delhi. We visited his school and college and Chetan Bhagat made us relive some of his beloved memories and experiences that have influenced his work. Here are the places we visited in Delhi with Chetan Bhagat: 📍 Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan 📍 Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi 📍 Cafe Coffee Day We started our journey at the Army Public School in Dhaula Kuan. Chetan Bhagat studied here from nursery to 12th grade and recited some of the nostalgic memories from his school life. From stealing wild berries from a nearby forest to having an aloo tikki burger for Rs. 2, Chetan Bhagat lived his childhood to the fullest here. Our second stop was IIT Delhi, where Chetan Bhagat spent four crucial years of his life and left with a transformative experience. We started off by meeting a professor and having a meal in the student mess over a discussion on Bhagat’s book Five Point Someone. Chetan Bhagat breaks down the movies/books he has written and his real-life experiences. We went on to visit the fluid mechanics lab of IIT Delhi. He confesses writing most of his books while traveling. He wrote Half Girlfriend in Paris. We played a travel trivia game with Chetan Bhagat in the IIT campus. He talks about his journey from becoming an investment banker to a writer. Our final stop was a Cafe Coffee Day in Delhi where Chetan Bhagat tells us why the coffee shop holds special significance for him. He tells us about his first book launch that happened in a CCD. We also played a game of This or That with Chetan Bhagat where he chose between Mumbai or Delhi, IIT Delhi or IIM Ahmedabad, Chole Bhature or Rajma Chawal, etc.
