On this episode of Tere Gully Mein, we explore Maharashtrian cuisine in Goregaon with the Masterchef Australia runner-up Sarah Todd who has a special connection with India. Her famous Aloo Gobi dish on the reality cooking show went viral all around the world. Sarah Todd & Arohi Thatte explored authentic Maharashtrian cuisine in Goregaon starting with the iconic Mumbai staple of vada pav and chai at a random street stall, followed by a huge thali which had dishes from all parts of Maharashtra- saoji from vidarbha, tambda- pandhra rassa from Kolhapur, fish frys and solkadhi from konkan and finished the meal with ukdiche modak. They then ended the outing with some sugarcane juice to beat the summer heat. Although the talk was predominantly about food we also spoke to her about her childhood, love for Indian cuisine, her travels and shoots throughout India, career, and much more.
