After exploring the chilly hill station of Mussoorie, the adventure capital of India – Rishikesh, our third and final destination in Uttarakhand stands to be its capital: Dehradun. We divided the trip into 2 parts: one exploring the popular destinations and two, living amidst the mountains of Maldevta. Day 1 includes exploring some popular destinations like Robber’s Cave, Sahastradhara, Forest Research Institute, Jhanda Sahib Gurudwara (where Dehradun gets its name from by the way). And Day 2 includes exploring Maldevta where you can witness living in the mountains and swimming in some of its pristine blue waterfalls. All of it, of course, under a budget!
