Pina Colada is one of the most well-known across the world. Originating in Puerto Rico, this tropical drink has the goodness of coconut milk, pineapple juice and rum. Take a sip and you’d be transported to the beach, in an instant. But the drink is not a happy one for everyone, especially one bartender, who actually said ” I hate it here” When a customer asked him to make his Pina Colada “extra creamy”, here’s what followed.

Bartender Has Hilarious Response To ‘Extra Creamy’ Pina Colada Request

Twitterati Lance, who goes by @Bornakang recently shared a picture of a bill from a bar. The bill showed that the customer ordered Pina Colada with an “extra creamy” request. Since the customer didn’t offer any other explanation for the same, the bartender decided to give his own spin to it.

In response, the bartender cheekily types down that this is just what the customer wanted. So, the bartender guessed the customer wanted him to add whipped cream to the drink before it is blended. Later goes on to write on the bill, “I hate it here”. Well, this is exactly what reads on the bill. This tweet went on to garner over 3.4 million views and over 138k likes.

The Internet was left in splits over the Pina Colada request. While the drink is usually sweet and fruity in taste with a milky, frothy consistency, the customer wanted it to be “extra creamy”. So, Tweeple decided to chime in and offer their two cents on what they think this request means.

Netizens Chime In With Their Opinions

@arbee8780 chimes in that for extra creamy, the bartender needs to blend the drink and then freeze it. And then blend the drink again. The Twitterati goes on to add that thickness in frozen drinks is often confused with creaminess. The person goes on to add that perhaps the customer wanted a 70:30 ration for coconut cream: pineapple.

Another said that perhaps the person wanted more coconut milk and less ice. But there were some who didn’t find the request to be absurd. Instead, they felt the bartender was rude and his reaction was uncalled for. Perhaps, he hated his job, quipped Netizens.

Meanwhile, do you enjoy drinking Pina Colada? If yes, how do you like to have your tropical drink?
