Palash Sen Can Do Anything For A Cup Of Black Coffee
We arrived at Blue Tokai in Connaught Place and continued conversing about his love for food in Delhi. Palash shared that he and his mother, Pushpa Sen, have an evening ritual. The ritual consists of his “only poison.”
He told us that they bond over cups of freshly brewed black coffee whenever he is in Delhi. Palash also added that the mother-son duo don’t have a particular style of coffee making. It could be a French press or instant coffee but they need to follow their evening ritual by hook or by crook.
Kamiya was surprised to hear our guest say, “I would travel miles, I would cross mountains, I would swim seas just to have black coffee!” We could feel the enthusiasm in his voice as he said it!

Upon seeing his love for black coffee, Kamiya asked Palash about his daily coffee intake. He told us that one cup of black coffee a day was the ideal deal for him. Therefore, he makes sure to order a black cup of coffee wherever he is in the world.
After that, he is good to go. He avoids large intakes of coffee as he is aware it isn’t good for his health and causes anxiety. It is safe to say that Palash doesn’t overdose on his poison and is aware of the limits!
