A cultural celebration took place at the Emirates Group Headquarters where regional treats were offered for the UAE National Day, which will be celebrated by the nation on December 2. In fact, a cake-cutting ceremony was followed by a tour of the heritage village, an artefact display, and regional handicrafts. Complete with cultural activities and live performances that were organised for the group employees, the festivities took place on November 28. In fact, they’re also doing something special for their customers.

From December 2 to 4, Emirates customers who will be departing from Dubai will be given Emirati-inspired sweets onboard. These will be given in a mini gift box, and the experience will be amplified as the airline’s interior will be lit up in the colours of the UAE flag. Those in premium economy, first, and business class will get to enjoy loomi cheesecake and chocolate cardamom brownies. And those in the economy class will be able to savour chocolate and date truffles. As it happens, those in the Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge will be able to relish the aseeda cake, pistachio and hibiscus namoura, cardamom cake & date slice with dried rose petals, date cake, or pumpkin cake with candied corn flakes & crispy pearls.

The Experience Begins On The Ground Itself
In fact, people in the Emirates First Class Lounges Dubai will also be treated to traditional Emirati Chicken Machbous. After this, they will get to relish decadent desserts, such as karak profiteroles, Umm Ali spheres, lommie Kabeese Cheesecake and Emirati Luqaimat served with Date Syrup and Pistachio Sauce.
Customers in the business class will be able to enjoy Emirati-style Lamb Ouzi, which will be made with locally sourced lamb, dakkus, and mint raitha. The delectable treats will be showcased along with Arabic Coffee Delice, Guerss Ugaili Cardamom Sesame Financiers, Loomi & Rose Profiteroles, and Burnt Gahwa Chocolate Tarts.
Isn’t it also absolutely wonderful? Well, onboard, customers will be able to embrace a national spirit with more than 80 Arabic and Emirati movies which include, Thalatha, Nasseem, and Al Aasha Al Aaely El Akhir. There are many Arabic TV shows as well, which they will be able to watch during the flight.
