The restaurant uses stone from coastal areas, according to a report by News 18. In fact, there is also a special recipe from the Nizam period to cook this popular dish in this eatery. The cooks of this restaurant are using this distinct recipe since 1954, generation after generation.

Kebabs Of This Hyderabad Restaurant Taste Different

The owners of Bade Miyan Kababs shared with News 18 that the special stone required to cook Pathar Ke Kabab costs about ₹20,000 to ₹25,000. The cooking process takes about 3 to 4 hours.

The owners also talked about the advantages of using this stone to cook kebabs. According to this report, this stone from coastal areas has the ability to resist extreme temperatures.
