Dosa is a beloved South Indian dish. It is cost-effective and versatile which makes it loved throughout the country by people from all walks of life. However, not everyone appreciates its versatility the way it is supposed to be appreciated. Take this viral video, for instance. A Dosa seller is seen mixing Bisleri water into the masala of the dosa turning it into a sloppy mess. Needless to say, the Internet had a few choice words to say to the maker!
Viral Video Shows Dosa Wala Mixing Bisleri In Masala
One of the many reasons that Dosa is so universally loved is its versatility. It goes with almost any savoury sabzi and you can make all sorts of permutations and combinations with the chutneys. However, some people have taken its versatility a bit too far.
A dosa maker in Ahmedabad’s Manekchowk makes dosa with… water. Yes, you read that correctly. A viral video shows a dosa maker pouring loads of water on the masala of a dosa cooking on the stove. The masala of the dosa looked fine before.
But when he poured water on the sabzi, it turned into a sloppy mess. It hardly looks appetising anymore and ever the structural integrity of dosa seemed compromised by this move. Many people were understandably unimpressed with this dosa.
Here Is How Netizens Reacted To The Viral Video
They took to the comment section and passed hilarious jibes at the dosa maker. The funniest one has to be the commenter who said “Uncle, apki pav bhaji me thoda sa dosa gir gaya.” This essentially translates to “Uncle, a bit of dosa fell in your pav bhaji.”
Pav bhaji is a flavourful slurry of mashed and spiced boiled vegetables. The texture and consistency of the dosa sabzi probably reminded the commenter of the dish and they took the shot. Another commenter was so distraught after seeing it that they asked “Is anyone getting me some poison or do I make do with the fan?”
