There are some things that desi mothers have in common whether is it having a plastic bag full of plastic bags or storing stitching materials in cookie boxes. Steel Dabbas are another universal with Desi moms.
A Zomato employee recently took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared a funny tale featuring the dabba. So what happened was that the person who shared the post forgot their AirPods at home. They asked their mother to send it to the office.
Given that AirPods are quite expensive, the user did not want the value of the item to be revealed to any onlooker and hence, they asked their mother to pack it discreetly and send it. And guess what? The mother did exactly that and sent it in a Steel Dabba! Yes, you read that right!

A number of commenters found this extremely ingenious and innovative. One commenter said that everyone’s moms are the best. Another commenter said that Tim Cook would have been proud of the mother for protecting it so well.
